Shakedown starts for Progressive Insurance Automotive X PRIZE
On Apr 25, 2010, teams started arriving at the Michigan International Speedway. After over a year of evaluating design, viability, and business plans; 28 teams and 36 vehicles from 14 US States and 9 countries have made it through to the Shakedown Stage. Days 1 and 2 will put them through the compulsory and rigorous Technical Inspection to ensure safety and consistency with submitted designs. Vehicles must pass this inspection before being allowed for the on-track stages of Shakedown.
